What is docky-restarter

This simple script start and restore  (when crash) the program Docky. It 'just install the deb package or rpm that you find below and follow the installation procedure.

Installation:

Download the RPM or DEB package from this page, once installed you should add it between applications to be executed at startup

gnome by going to System-> Preferences-> Startup Applications;

Press Add and insert:

Name: DockyRestarter

Command: /usr/bin/dk_rs.sh

Comment: your pleasure

 

Note: You are strongly advised to disable auto start of docky, because docky-restarter that access will start in gnome.

What is docky

Docky is a frontend for GNOME-Do, the difference between the docky and gnome-do is that while gnome-do has many features, such as launching applications, the docky is only a dock bar with customizable features more limited.
